Peter Voser Park 2005

Stadthaus, Gubelstrasse 22, 6301 Zug, 2. OG West

Peter Voser is a trained graphic designer and his artistic practice encompasses paintings, drawings, assemblages as well as mixed media. His works range from minimalist figurative pieces to abstract works, evoking associations and emotions inspired by both the past and the present. In doing so, he turns his attention to various inner and outer worlds, exploring themes of departure and arrival. The precise arrangement and division of Voser’s pictorial spaces often contrasts with the soft, fleeting and transparent application of paint, particularly in his watercolours. The artist is born in Zug in 1949 and has been awarded the cantonal art scholarship twice.
