Since 1985, Daniel Bamert has been working as a freelance artist and educator in Zug. His diverse body of work encompasses visual art, musical compositions and writing, with painting as his primary medium of expression. From the 1970s onwards, he develops a geometric-constructivist visual language from which paintings, objects and art-in-architecture projects emerge. He also experiments with photography, copy art, collages and watercolours. His works are based on basic geometric patterns and reflect a constant exploration of form, colour and space. The colour white and prismatic colour arrangements increasingly gain importance in his works from the 1990s onwards.
