Nina Staehli Glücksritter

Stadthaus, Gubelstrasse 22, 6301 Zug, 3. OG West, Stadtschulen und Betreuung

In her work, the artist Nina Staehli explores fundamental questions of the human condition and the movements of our society. She works with various media – from film and photography to sculpture and painting – and combines them to create multi-layered, site-specific installations. Her powerful artistic universe is characterised by a wide variety of materials and depth of content. It brings social contradictions to light and encourages viewers to reflect on the fault lines of human existence. Nina Staehli grows up in Cham. She trains as an actress in Rome and works in theatre before studying sculpture at the Zurich University of the Arts and continuing her training in Faenza (Italy). Her artistic career takes her to Berlin and eventually to her own studio in Lucerne, which she moves to Mendrisio in 2021.
