Dominik Hodel teaches photography at the F+F Schule für Kunst und Design in Zurich, from which he himself graduated in 2011 with a Diploma in Photography. Hodel also completes a Master of Fine Arts at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) in 2016.
In his artistic practice, the photographer and video artist Dominik Hodel explores how our view of ourselves and the world is changing as new technologies continue to develop. In doing so, he takes a critical look at the increasing surveillance of society, whilst at the same time creating poetic portraits of his fellow human beings and offering new perspectives on our surroundings.
