Since 1975, Gary Soskin has been working as a photographer in New York City, San Francisco and Zug, where he moves to in 1981. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College in New York and studied Political Science, History and Art History. Soskin works in advertising, photojournalism and photo illustration, as well as teaching. In his artistic practice, he brings ideas to life, captures observations and draws inspiration from other artists. He also shapes Zug’s cultural landscape as president of the Fotoforum, which makes exciting photographic works accessible to the general public in Zug.
